Build
The guy who built the iPod and Nest writes a brutally honest guide to building products, companies, and a career.
Fadell structures the book as a series of lessons across career stages — starting out, joining a company, becoming a manager, building a product, leading a company. It's one of the few business books that actually tells you what it feels like from inside the room when things go wrong. The product chapters are exceptional. His discussion of how Apple killed projects is alone worth reading.
